What we do
| Lightmonkey is a team of artists, designers and photographers whose approach is suited to clients looking for a celebratory, unstaged, unsentimental record of their wedding. |
| In addition to capturing a wedding's main ceremonial events, we also record the informal moments and incidental action between them. While our style is contemporary, our intention is that the photographs will one day have historical value as every appropriate detail is gathered |
| Lightmonkey developed the concept of the 'book not album' because the permanent nature of a bound book lends credibility to the 'story' told by reportage-style photographs. We work closely with clients to present their photographs in slim one-off or limited-edition volumes. Clients can choose from a range of contemporary covers, or design their own book - literally from cover to cover. The pictures can be arranged on the pages in dozens of different combinations; text can be included - poems, the order of service, or guest list - anything that contributes towards a comprehensive record of the day. |
